Oregon recently enacted a no smoking law, which dramatically reduced the number of places people can go in public to enjoy a cigar. As I was looking around the Internet to find out just what was available, I was actually pleasantly surprised that there are a number of places you can still go to smoke a stogie. So with that in mind I am posting this list of places I have vetted as currently friendly to cigars. This list is not all-inclusive, nor is it in any sort of rank order. My main hope that it helps you in your quest for enjoying a smoke and that you don’t have to go through the hoops that I did for accurate information. Feel free to provide me with some feedback if you want me to update the list, as I think that is done all too infrequently especially with my recent searching.

I’ve been to a few of these places (pretty recently too!) and am always surprised how much more relaxed and welcoming the atmosphere is. When you sit down and light a stogie, it’s a time commitment- you’ll be there for a while. I love that.
We all need a little time away from the stressful stuff, and cigar lounges are a great escape.
Update to this post: I no longer live in the Portland area, so further investigation on my part is unlikely. However if YOU find a place that’s not listed here, or one that is listed and should be de-listed, please let me know!
