After playing around with the Golf Track 1.3 for Excel I wrote about in an earlier post, I decided to build a little stat tracker for myself and my wife to use when we’re playing. It’s nothing much, just a Word doc, but using it really helped me focus on keeping my FIR and GIR in line and my putts as low as I could go. it looks something like this:

I fit 9 of them on a side and print it up double-sided. We track the GPS widget yardage with the handheld I got Marla for Mother’s Day. It works out pretty well. I shot a 42 on a course my best ever before was 45. Not too bad!
Update: Looks like when I posted this image, the check boxes appear as “O” characters, reminiscent of the “O” style University of Oregon fans so dearly love. Oh, well. Imagine they are squares…
